Project Engineer - Custom Test Equipment - Direct Hire - Yonkers, NY
We are looking for a Test Equipment Engineer with a Project Engineering and Project Management background related to custom equipment development. (An ideal background would be managing projects related to the development of custom test equipment for various systems; electronics, PCBs, mechanical systems, HVAC systems, pneumatic systems etc...
Job Description:
- The position plays a role in resolving various engineering issues in the manufacturing process; systems integration and manufacturing aligned to project schedules. The issues can be related to System Functions, Functional Interfaces, Electrical Interfaces, Mechanical Interfaces, Asset Management and Test Equipment.
- Evaluates electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, test procedures, test reports, technical proposals and, other documents as required
- Supports on-site testing activities, troubleshooting and, field modifications
Qualifications:
- BS in an Engineering Discipline - Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, etc...
- 3+ years' experience working on custom equipment projects
- Experience working test equipment, a plus. (Equipment with GUIs, Test Stands, ATEs, Bench Tests etc...)
