Your mission:- Conduct user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing
- Design and specify user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery.
- Produce user requirements specifications, personas, storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, design prototypes, and design specifications.
- Effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale both verbally and visually.
- Participate in product ideation and conceptual development.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
- Create visual design systems that effectively communicate product function, evoke emotion, and align with user needs.
- Create clear, compelling data visualizations and illustrations that support product narrative.
- Produce design specifications, wireframes, storyboards, and motion-based prototypes to show design intent and guide implementation.
- Successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visually.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team that includes creative leads, project management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers.
- Position is fully remote, with offices in Midtown, NYC and Irvine, CA
- 5+ years of user interface design experience.
- Wildly creative and obsessively meticulous.
- Exceptional design talents with stylistic breadth that demonstrates sensitivity to diverse subject matter from product interaction to software tools.
- Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology.
- Strong project and people management skills. Must be able to function as a project leader as well as an individual contributor.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping software packages including AdobeCC and Figma.
- Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of different technologies such as Android, CMS, Unity, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally with people.
- Self-motivation, excellent communication, an open mind, the ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams, and the skills to balance great design with short deadlines.
- A love of collaboration and learning.
- A fearless, can do, entrepreneurial and positive attitude.

- Degree in graphic design, interaction design, or related design discipline
- Background in education, AI, digital experience design, and/or product design
- 5+ years of user experience design for digital products and services. Familiarity with designing educational experiences a plus.
- Experience with animation software and integration with Figma.
