We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiographic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiographic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and high-quality images that assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform various diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, mammograms, and fluoroscopy.
  • Calibrate and maintain radiographic equipment to ensure accurate and quality images.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
  • Administer contrast agents and perform vascular contrast injections as necessary.
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients, staff, and yourself.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care and imaging results.
  • Document and maintain accurate patient records and image archives.
  • Stay up to date with advancements in radiographic technology and new imaging techniques.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of student technologists or other staff members.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiography or a related field.
  • Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiographic Technologist.
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting radiographic equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiation safety protocols, and department policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with CT and mammography is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Picture Archive and Communications Systems (PACS) is a plus.
