Calabrio is looking for a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to become a member of the Cloud Operations team. This individual will focus on cloud and solution problem solving and planning efforts in support of operational excellence for our Cloud Environments and Infrastructure. They will perform advanced operational tasks including (but not limited to) overseeing system automation tasks, system planning, support and monitoring, platform monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. They will contribute to the global design and implementation of operational procedures and policies.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting platform technologies, tools, and assets
- Maintaining system software to latest versions and patch release levels
- Working to continually to develop and improve processes, methodologies, and approaches
- Leading the maintenance and upgrading of customer databases and underlying technologies
- Using and proposing and designing (proof of concept) enhancements to automation process with orchestrators such as Azure DevOps
- Using and proposing and designing (proof of concept) enhancements Infrastructure as Code configurations with Terraform
- Monitoring and resolution of incoming support related work items and partner as needed other team members
- 24/7 On-Call support on a rotational basis, every 5th to 8th week, depending on current team and schedule dynamics
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or related fields, or experience
- 8+ years related work experience
- Advanced Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience and demonstrable knowledge
- Extensive Unix/Windows administration experience in cloud/virtual environment including
- Experience with Unix OS/Windows system build and configuration managers such as Puppet, Chef, and Vagrant
- Apache with Apache Tomcat
- Advanced Shell and Python scripting experience
- Operational experience supporting MS SQL, PostgreSQL and other DBMS solutions
- Experience with cloud-delivered operations
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and processes such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates
