Sr. Electrical Engineer

RFA Engineering (www.rfamec.com) is seeking several mid career to experienced candidates to be part of our engineering team at our customer's facility near Bloomington, MN . You will work with our experienced engineering staff and our customer's staff to provide highly engineered solutions for complex systems, equipment and machines. Our customer's facility is a world-class engineering and manufacturing center. These are full time positions that are indefinite in duration with opportunity for professional growth, direct hire by our customer, and opportunity within our own organization.

Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine possible design improvements.

• Determine feasibility of modifying and designing new equipment considering cost, time limitations, and other factors.

• Analyze test date and reports to help determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.

• Design and integrate industrial power distributions up to 480VAC

• Design and integrate industrial automation and control systems including PLC's, Motor Controls, and general machine design controls.

• Coordinate design efforts to meet production schedules and provide project task estimates and updates to project team.

  Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering Technology or BS Engineering with related electrical experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or hobbies

• Minimum 5 years of related Electrical Engineering experience.

• Excellent communication both written and verbal

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments

• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to thrive in a team environment
