Master Scheduler Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee internal processes to plan, schedule, coordinate, and approve release of production orders to all manufacturing departments, based on material availability and manufacturing constraints
- Communicate proactively with internal teams to reschedule production in the event of labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other schedule interruptions
- Analyze manufacturing capacity constraints and their impact on the master production plan and provide recommendations as needed
- Compile, prepare, and distribute various reports regarding labor hours, items shipped, etc.
- Work with open order report to ensure schedules are maintained and communicate changes
- Serve as a subject matter expert for manufacturing ERP software and other tools that support production & materials planning, capacity planning, and operational management
- Develop inventory plans to maintain target inventory levels
- Measuring performance of all critical factors to ensure compliance to plans
- Assist with the introduction, modification, or discontinuation of products including maintaining parts numbers, inventory and order levels, and product lists, and communicating the status of the change
Master Scheduler Key Requirements:
- 3 years of production planning/scheduling experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using an ERP system
