Exec Director, ESG & Philanthropy Strategic Planning and Delivery
Reporting to the SVP, ESG & Philanthropy and Chief Sustainability Officer in leading key initiatives in collaboration with business unit leaders, and Corporate Shared Services leaders across all business segments, vendors, and key external stakeholders.
You will establish deep cross-functional relationships across the enterprise to ensure solutions and initiatives are effectively designed and implemented, with a focus on measurable outcomes/impact.
You will also be responsible for developing and advancing the strategy of the ESG & Philanthropy team in collaboration with our senior leaders.
Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting the internal and external presentations of those strategies, including Board presentations and other external thought leadership opportunities.
As Executive Director, ESG & Philanthropy Strategic Planning and Delivery Solutions, you will work with the function leaders to identify the long-term vision and then map out the necessary operations and structures to get there.
Areas of primary accountability will be our Healthy 2030 strategy and Philanthropic programs designed to deliver differentiated experiences for our colleagues, consumers, and communities.
Reaching out across the organization and bringing expertise together, you will serve as an air traffic controller for the function leader and the senior team; as an integrator connecting work streams that would otherwise remain siloed; as a communicator linking the leadership team and the broader organization; as an honest broker and truth teller when the leader needs a wide-ranging view without turf considerations; and as a confidant without an organizational agenda.
Will occasionally serve as proxy for the function leader in internal and external meetings with key stakeholders.
This position can be located remotely with moderate travel.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Partner with the ESG & Philanthropy leadership team to develop and execute both long- and short-term strategic plans
Coordinate and drive planning, budgeting, executing and implementing of ESG & Philanthropy team’s cross functional, critical and high impact internal and external-facing projects and key initiatives
Coordinate and oversee critical initiatives and ensure proper linkage of ESG & Philanthropy team’s and enterprise priorities and plans
Collaborate with business leaders, colleagues and external stakeholders to gather well-rounded perspectives in order to assess commitment and sustainability of change(s)
ESG & Philanthropy Ensure effectiveness of the ESG & Philanthropy team operations by analyzing reporting and performing diagnostic assessments to identify and assess complex problems and deliver sustainable solutions
Challenge partners to think differently regarding operational issues and act as a thought partner and model creative problem-solving to impact business decisions and ensure proper change management
Serve on appropriate ESG and Philanthropic teams, standing committees and projects, providing the point of view of our various team functions
Manage team budget and staff associated with that
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 131,500
Maximum: 289,300
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
Required Qualifications
10 years of business leadership, chief of staff experience or equivalent experience in another similar field.
The candidate be a critical, systems-oriented thinker with a bias for informed action.
The candidate will also have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all business leaders and key external stakeholders.

Demonstrated written and verbal communications expertise
Significant enterprise-wide program and project management experience
Prior leadership experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent experience required
