This position may be in High Wycombe, England, UK, but is open to consideration of talent at any major J&J Consumer Health Office location within the EMEA, APAC, NA or LATAM regions as well as Remote.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.


It is anticipated that, following the conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.


Role and Responsibilities:




  • Data Analytics and Digital Acceleration is a newly formed team that will lead the transformation of Consumer Health towards a data and digital first culture with the deployment of rapid, high value end-to-end (E2E) data products and solutions




  • As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for targeted E2E Data and Digital outcomes that require a cross-functional focus to unlock our growth strategy leveraging Data Science/AI and Intelligent Automation




  • The team is business-led, technology-enabled and will have a responsibility to enable the achievement of the J&J Consumer Health 3-year strategic growth objectives viz. Net Trade Sales Acceleration, Gross Profit Optimization, and Free Cash flow optimization




  • One of the key focus areas for this team will be to address foundational data improvement in partnership with functions & regions, build Data 360 products, and set standards & policies across the enterprise. Our larger mission is to drive organization-wide growth and impact for the 1.2B consumers & healthcare professionals who use our products and services




  • This role will be uniquely positioned to work collaboratively with strategic external partners and data management leaders across the business and technology to passionately understand our data needs, define and operationalize our global data management strategy, approach and roadmap, and drive data excellence across regions and enable outcomes that matter in our local markets




  • The role will create the strategic vision on J&J's customer data strategy, standard hierarchies for capture of 1st, 2nd, 3rd party customer data, ensure robust data definitions and translation of business strategy to specific use cases and requisite customer data strategy




  • Collaborate closely with the regional data strategy leaders and the respective "middle office" organizations to ensure we're step-changing our customer data health and management to ensure delivery of our growth objectives




  • Work closely with technology counterparts to shape our Customer 360 data asset construction and related marketing technology and advertising technology platforms around the world




  • As a strategic problem solver, technologist, and expert in data management, this role will empower our technology and business partners through the delivery of high-quality data that will be foundational in achieving our digital-first ambitions




  • Support data management and governance activities for Customer data




  • Ensure adherence to developed data standards: Ensure data standards in consultation with Regional and Functional teams for Customer data globally




  • Ensure compliance with the developed data standards: Ensure compliance with the established Data Governance policies and standards across the Customer data domain




  • Refine and maintain data standards: Support the review and refinement of Data Governance policies and standards on a periodic basis




  • KDEs identification and definition: Drive the identification and definition of Key Data Elements (KDEs) that need to be governed globally, as well as their corresponding use-case policies and data standards




  • Monitor data quality: Measure and monitor data quality indices (DQI) to drive Customer data accountability globally




Qualifications


Requirements:




  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Management, Business, or a similar field




  • A minimum of 6 years of leadership experience in the Data Management and Governance space, ideally with experience in the Consumer Health industry




  • Experience operationalizing Data Governance and Management globally




  • Hands on experience with use of MDM and Data Cataloging tools




  • A strong understanding of use cases and data sets, and sources of data (internal and external) required to support a Consumer Health organization's needs




  • High degree of understanding of Customer data domain




  • Experience successfully operating in the capacity of a Data owner is preferred




  • The ability to lead without reporting authority and to achieve outcomes in a complex environment - leading through influence and deep collaboration across the enterprise




  • The ability to manage ambiguity and shape new initiatives/business from scratch




  • Strategic thinker and big picture oriented




  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to interact effectively with key stakeholders




  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels within the organization, while maintaining external credibility




  • Has an innovative, agile, and high-performing team mindset




  • Familiar and stays abreast of the latest advancements in technology, market, trends, and modern technology frameworks
