Digital Technology has a rare opportunity for a motivated Digital Technology MRO Application Project Manager in our Commercial and Military engines application portfolios to run software development of the innovative tools to support our GTF and F135 fleets.

This role requires strong hands-on project management and technical oversight throughout the Agile (SDLC) software development process.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible but not limited for our PW Stack (GTF engine) and CSILT Tool (F135 engine) applications deployment and sustainment in our MRO portfolio
• Collaboration with customers to gain knowledge of business processes
• Partnering with our customers to identify and implement high impact projects which will provide capabilities and benefits that help P&W achieve its operational goals
• Translating customer requirements into a solution design
• Leading project schedules and resources to implement projects
• Meeting all budget, quality and schedule targets
• Technical and functional problem solving
• Dedicated involvement towards continuous improvement
• Management of onsite and offshore/Low-Cost Sourcing programming resources

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or Business-related degrees with 8+ years of experience of handling large, complicated digital technology projects; OR an Advanced Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or Business-related degrees with 5+ years of experience of handling large, complicated digital technology projects
• US Citizenship is required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with infrastructure industry standards and trends on multiple platforms including Windows, Linux/UNIX, Cloud platforms (Azure)
• Experience with Software Development practices and frameworks
• Experience with Software Product Lifecycle practices for managing software, automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• You will have experience in several of the following competencies:
• Familiarity with .Net Applications and Microsoft SQL Server
• PMI PMP certification preferred, but not required
• Ability to learn, understand and interpret business processes; ability to act in partnership with the business
• Communicate effectively with executive management
• Strong social skills ability to work laterally and engage others to achieve success
• Shown skill with software life cycle development processes
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts concisely to non-IT business professionals
• Experience with delivering end user training & documentation
• Work dedicatedly and demonstrated ability to take initiative
• Craft clear communication
• Creative troubleshooting skills
