Reporting into the Vice President of Sales, the Director of Clinical Sales manages the sales team who are selling directly to end-users of Availity's clinical solutions nationwide.

To be qualified for this position you:
  • Minimum of 8 years in the healthcare industry with 5+ years of successful sales leadership experience
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating a successful sales team
  • Experience in managing a multi-million-dollar sales quota and corresponding funnel management and reporting requirements
  • Skilled in the delivery of presentations to executive level leaders
  • Expertise with healthcare SaaS products; healthcare systems, Payers, and Channel Partners

You will be:
  • Overseeing the budget, expense management, forecasting and hiring and strategic sales planning needs of the Availity clinical portfolio in your assigned region (segments?).
  • Coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the sales pipeline through creating strategies and marketing plans.
  • Providing direct sales support, actively pitching with the team.
  • Heavily interacting and engaging with Product Management, Marketing, Finance and Legal teams at Availity.
  • Interacting with the sales executives on a daily basis providing constant maintenance of those associate relationships.
  • Ensuring that new growth targets are met and exceeded by the business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Coordinating with plan owners, marketing, sales channels and other functional areas to drive growth targets.
  • Driving cross-selling and ensuring that all solutions are being presented as appropriate to meet prospect needs and maximize growth targets.
  • Participating with and updating the sales leadership team and senior management team on sales performance, key market and competitive events and strategic position in strategic accounts.
  • Properly staffing and professionally developing your sales teams; holding your team accountable for their quotas and sales generating activities.
  • Supporting all operating mechanisms and sales processes and policies.
  • Actively managing margin and pricing strategies to maximize growth metrics and performance.
  • Defining a clear vision of customer/prospect business needs and Availity strategies and understanding where different solutions can impact, enhance, and complement the customer's and prospect's business.
