Marketing Web Developer

The Marketing Web Developer is an integral part of the Creative and Web Team. This team is responsible for ensuring the maintenance, stability, and performance of our websites and building out new designs and pages. This team focuses primarily on GiveWP, iThemes, KadenceWP, and IconicWP. 

We are looking for a skilled WordPress website developer who has a passion for and deep understanding of working on technology brands and their product websites. A deep understanding of the WordPress platform is critical. You will need to have excellent communication skills and years of experience creating and developing WordPress websites. 

You will work as part of the Marketing Team and coordinate directly with the Directors of Product Marketing to improve the stability, performance, and conversion-rate of various StellarWP websites. You will work both at the server level, in the WordPress admin with both plugins and themes, and build out custom landing page designs and work directly on the website and ecommerce sales functions.

• Have a deep understanding of proper WordPress theme architecture and extensibility
• Working knowledge of basics of web development and its requisite hosting environment including HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, PHP functioning within a Linux & Apache environment
• Strive to stay on the cutting edge of website development
• Enjoy the challenge of solving problems
• Have worked to optimizing traffic and sales funnels on product technology websites
• Know common tactics to help improve sales conversion rates on product pages
• Understand the importance of WordPress as a software and community
• Familiarity with Asana, Figma, and Github is helpful

This is a fully remote position, focused on U.S. residents. Work from home or wherever you have a great internet connection. As such there are not many physical requirements, but here’s some important factors to keep in mind:

• Because we’re fully remote, transparency and excellent communication skills are a must
• We work asynchronously, but also have conference calls regularly for projects.
• We use a number of tools across the internet to get work done.
