The TruStage team at CUNA Mutual Group is looking to add a Sales Planner to support continued transformation of our Consumer Sales Contact Center capabilities. The Consumer Sales team is responsible for delivering a best in class consumer experience that empowers middle-market consumers get the insurance protection their families need. Sales Planners are thought partners across the business, identifying new opportunities , assessing impacts of change to our Contact Center Partners, and shepherding initiatives through planning and execution.

Today, TruStage Life is the third largest direct to consumer life insurer in the market, and the Sales Planner will play a key role in the success of our future growth.

Job Purpose:


This role solves complex problems and identifies innovative solutions, interprets business issues and solutions best practices. This position supports optimizing capabilities in Consumer Sales while identifying and implementing new capabilities to generate strong future growth. Additionally, this role will be a key player in executing the future state vision of direct to consumer contact center capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identifies improvements related to Consumer Sales systems and system enhancements.
  • Determines process improvements and performs process flow design analysis
  • Recommends and leads the implementation of process enhancements, facilitates change management, leads educational and/or mentoring sessions regarding process or system design changes.
  • Establishes critical success factors for processes including the associated metrics to assess success communicate results and drive the changes to effectively increase performance.
  • Leads projects to bring new growth capabilities to Consumer Sales. Operates as the Business Owner for some or all of these efforts to make day to day decisions on project scope to deliver the intended results.
  • Leads cross-functional teams to deliver intended results and develops close working relationships with cross-functional partners. Provides subject matter expertise on project and change management efforts. Provides input and reactions to requirements and other documentation.
  • Brings innovative opportunities to Consumer Sales based on new emerging technologies or other innovations in the financial services market or outside the market.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales call centers and/or Business Process Management, Business Continuous Improvement or related field to including successful implementation of processes or continuous improvement initiatives to include application of project management methodology.
  • Knowledge of call center sales processes or similar customer interaction channels.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills in driving and successfully delivering initiatives and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Experience in making recommendations and decisions based on quantitative analysis.
  • Proven success in collaborating and influencing multiple functions and groups to achieve desired sales/financial goals.
  • Understanding of key best practices from a sales solution and technology standpoint in the industry to enhance existing channels.
  • Strong business acumen and analytic skills with an understanding of insurance financials.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong time management, planning and problem solving skills.
  • Able to travel 10% of the time (when corporate travel is resumed)

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.Base Salary Range:

$76,900.00 - $115,300.00
