Power & Controls is looking for a L4 Value Stream Lead (VSL) in its Electric Power Systems (EPS) business segment. This VSL is responsible for the full lifecycle management of Electric Power Systems (EPS) Programs in its Military Value Stream, which includes Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman and other Foreign Military customers. This position will also be responsible for Customer Satisfaction initiatives across their platforms, both in production and Aftermarket.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the L4 VSL for EPS' Military Programs, you will:
  • Lead and develop a team of 5 L5 VSLs, while serving as the single point of contact at the L4 level for these visible and key military programs
  • Define platform strategy for customers in portfolio along with 5-year plans, focusing on new business opportunities.
  • Manage production deliveries and production growth opportunities to meet or exceed both company and customer objectives. This includes interacting with internal/external customers and suppliers, driving on time delivery (OTD), leading proposal generation, identifying production growth opportunities, and communicating the policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to the cross-functional team.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Delivery Assurance in managing production deliveries to meet customer schedule requirements
  • Establish pricing, negotiate, and manage timely submittal of proposals, quotations, and contracts
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, proactively identify problems and obtain solutions for all field or product improvement issues
  • Represent our company with our customers and manage the program to meet contract requirements, including delivery schedules, cost, and technical specifications
  • Organize and conduct program status reviews, team meetings, and various other regular business activities
  • Represent the program with our company senior management, managing and reporting revenue, technical issues, capital expenditure, new business development, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage all aspects of income and spending, forecasting, cost management, engineering/program spending and departmental budgets for all OEM-related programs
  • Support business management of the aftermarket and customer service aspects for responsible production programs
  • Be responsible for assuring that all functional aspects of the group perform in a manner which supports business unit and program/customer commitments, including Program Management, Finance, Quality, Operations, Business Development, Engineering, and Contracts
  • Manage all customer interfaces and resolve customer satisfaction issues with diverse customers related to the business group
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers at all levels, demonstrate the ability to balance competing priorities and model a high level of self-motivation and engagement for your team and IPT.
  • Lead within a matrix organization to achieve business goals and deliver on customer commitments


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 14 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • Advanced degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience is required
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aerospace Industry preferred
  • Prior Value Stream/Program Management experience is preferred
  • Prior people leadership experience is preferred
