Youth For Tomorrow is a 24/7 faith-based residential facility for at-risk boys and girls. We are located near Manassas, VA; and rest on 215 acres where we also have an on-site school for the youth of YFT to attend year round. Our school is nationally accredited by AdvancED and State Board of Education VAISEF.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Assurance Record Review System for Serious Incident Reports, CHRIS Reports, and Admissions.
2. Responsible for daily monitoring of Serious Incident Reports.
3. Assist with client case reviews (appropriate level of services) routinely and regularly for utilization reviews.
4. Monitor and ensure legal compliance with standards for licensing for DBHDS Regulations for Children’s Residential Facilities, DMAS Regulations and Agency Accreditation Regulations
5. Complete all record request(s) submitted by client(s) and outside agencies, If Applicable.
6. Responsible for conducting walk-throughs of all RTC dwellings to ensure compliance with all regulations. QA Coordinator is responsible for creating a report of all findings and must forward to Director of Quality Assurance for review.
7. Assist with risk management issues involving safety and security of the agency, staff, and residents served.
8. Attend all training(s) mandated by YFT.
9. All duties and responsibilities will support meeting the structured program of care outlined in DBHDS and DSS state standards (DBHDS: 12VAC 35-46-800; DSS: 22 VAC 40-151-720).
10. Participate as a member of the YFT Internal Investigation Team.
11. Responsible for input of data into the CHRIS Reporting System.
12. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Team and Director of Quality Assurance.
Required Trainings: First Aid/ CPR; Handle With Care: Standard Precautions; Emergency Preparedness; Shaken Baby; Mandatory Reporting; and 25 hours of job specific related training.
· Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree or High School Diploma with some experience in auditing files, licensing regulations or other Human Service related duties.
· Able to work full time.
· Knowledge of licensing regulations (DBHDS and DMAS) and facility policies and procedures.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
· Ability to attend job-specific trainings and occasional travel for work-related duties.
