At the RMS Sikorsky West Palm Beach (WPB) facility we are looking for a energetic and enthusiastic software engineer to join our team of the most highly qualified personnel in the industry! Our team is working on cutting edge technology in support of future vertical lift programs. If you are interested in working on the latest advancements in rotorcraft technology, this is the team for you!
As the Flight Test Data Software Engineer you will be engaged as a Full Stack Developer creating web based applications using Java Server Faces and supporting frameworks such as Hibernate, Spring and PrimeFaces. These application will be deployed on an Apache Tomcat server and will manage data in a PostgreSQL back end database. Responsibilities will include all aspects of application development from the front end GUI through database design and implementation. Additionally you will be involved in requirements definition activities, product testing, maintenance and support.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline with two (2) years or more of professional experience. Candidates who have no professional experience with a related Master’s degree will be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in a number of different programming tasks but especially web application design as well as strong RDMS skills to design and manage backend databases.
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in CIS or Computer Engineering preferred. Aerospace test and telemetry experience preferred.
Experience with the following technologies is essential:
∙ Java Server Faces (JSF)
∙ PrimeFaces
∙ Web-Design (MVC Architecture)
∙ Java Persistence API (JPA)
∙ Hibernate
∙ Java
∙ SQL
Experience with aviation digital data bus technologies such as MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429, and IRIG-106 data formats and aircraft maintenance and configuration control is a plus.
