The Growth Office Intern will join a team of sales and account management professionals, and gain an exposure to a vibrant, fast-paced corporate environment. Please Note:
Work location for this role is FLEXIBLE! This position allows 100% remote work from home or allows work to be performed in any of our major office locations with a hybrid schedule.

Profile Description:


The qualified candidate will:

  • Learn the fundamentals of sales and account management in the group insurance industry;
  • Develop expertise in the full suite of employee benefits products
  • Gain direct experience with the full end-to-end customer experience from request for proposal (RFP) to successful sale to ongoing relationship management;
  • Practice gathering and analyzing internal client and industry/market data
  • Drive DEI cultural priorities by imagining and executing a networking event with our NextGen employee resource group
  • Learn to use corporate technologies such as our RFP intake tool, contracts repository, e-signature platform, SalesForce, and other key tools;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Open to all majors
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Interest in deriving compelling insights from multiple data sources
  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate by phone, video calls, and email
  • Ability to work at a sustained pace while balancing several projects with tight timelines
  • Possess an extraordinary attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills

Colorado Residents Only:
The pay range for Colorado residents is $20 to $23 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. A list of additional benefits can be found on our job posting and also on our Voya career page.
