Senior Software Engineer (remote)

Job Family: Marketing Req ID: 337689 We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join our team! This position offers remote flexibility to work from anywhere in the US. What will this you do? Managing projects from start to finish and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets. Write and maintain front-end and/or backend code using APIs as well as intensive testing Communicate with other developers to integrate module and packages into enterprise solutions Analyzing and defining business processes to develop innovative and customer specific solutions - based on standard platforms. Ability to coordinate complex problems involving various audiences. Positively interact with all internal customers. Creation of professional and technical documents during the requirements phase is also part of your main tasks. Maintain existing projects: add features and fix bugs as they arise What qualifications does this position require? 5+ years industry experience in information technology, software development and data management. Basic to intermediate knowledge of AWS, especially Dynamo, RDS, Lambda, IAM and Cloud Formation. Experience in Source-Code-Management tools such as Bitbucket or (preferably) AWS CodeCommit. Enhanced Development skills in web-based technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript Knowledge of containers (not required, but a huge plus) Advanced Experience in JavaScript Frameworks like Angular 6.0+ Development of backend code in C# .Net Core / NodeJS Experience with Source-Code-Management Systems such as Git Experience using SQL (MSSQL, MySQL or MemSQL preferred) Why you'll love working at Siemens!
