Project Engineer

Job Description:

Integritek, a NetGain Technologies Company, has an immediate full-time opening for an IT Project Engineer (PE). Our PEs are responsible for working with our clients and internal teams to deploy simple to complex network infrastructure to businesses in the Atlanta area. Our project engineers use an industry-leading project methodology to deliver products and professional services to our client base. Our PEs are also responsible for onboarding new clients to meet the technology standards within our managed services support framework. Our engineers perform mostly client-facing work, provide onsite and remote support services, and work cross-functionally with all support teams within the organization to deliver comprehensive IT solutions. This position requires excellent communication and technical skills and an understanding of sound business principles and IT best practices. The position requires a strong business intuition, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to present ideas professionally at all levels of the corporate structure.

Requirements:

Background and Technical Skills:

The PE must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of full-time hands-on experience managing business-class network technologies and possess one or more of the following technical certifications (MCP, MTA, MCSA, MCSE, Network Plus, CCNA, CCA, VCP)

The PE must possess a minimum of five (5+) years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise networks comprised of the following technologies:

• Prior experience working as a PE for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is highly desired
• Writing and creating Project plans
• Experience independently executing or leading other engineers on projects, explicit;y on Cloud migrations, Server refreshes, network refreshes
• Designing and implementing technical solutions (networks, servers, cloud like Azure)
• Managing Projects (timelines, multiple threads, working with clients)
• client savvy - led client conversations about technical solutions for business problems
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and greater
• Microsoft Azure Infrastructure
• Active Directory
• Exchange Server 2013 and greater
• Office 365 implementation and management
• IP Scheme Design and Management
• Network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and routers (Cisco and Meraki experience preferred)
• Brand name server hardware including Dell and HP
• VMware and Hyper-V
• SAN and NAS products
• Enterprise backup technology
• Enterprise anti-virus and malware protection solutions
• Windows RDS Configuration and Management
• UPS Power Management Technology

Exposure to These Products is a Plus:

• Cisco Meraki - Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Points
• ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate (LabTech)
• a good understanding of Microsoft licenses
• Sage, Quickbooks, Revit, AutoCad
• Working on Security Projects (EDR/XDR deployment, Penetration testing, etc.)
