JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title: L4 Systems Support Engineer

Location: Remote

• Location: Austin area highly preferred; can be remote (will be working remotely but ideally in Austin area)

Long Term Contract

Candidate must be able to work on Apex Systems W2

The position will require the following skillset:

• Great communication skills
• Strong Familiarity with ITIL Processes (issue & change ticketing, etc)
• Very strong Enterprise HW skills (Dell PowerEdge Servers, storage, network switches, routing, data center environment, etc)
• Very strong Microsoft OS Enterprise skills (MS Server OSes, OS Clustering, Active Directory, MS storage spaces, OS Deployment and configuration, etc)
• Strong familiarity with Virtualization (MS Hyper-V)
• Familiarity with MS Azure Cloud a plus
• Familiarity with network communications and protocols
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring systems/tools
• Familiarity with Linux OSes a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
