Christie Clinic's Department of Business Services is seeking a full-time Manager, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Christie Clinic Leadership Center in Champaign. Duties include the daily supervision of divisional staff and other areas of Business Services, as needed. Supervisory and training experience is required, experience in a medical office setting is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, supervise, motivate and discipline employees.
- Monitor and verify timely and accurate completion of staff duties.
- Develop and implement goals and programs.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between patients, providers and clinical departments.
- Act as a resource for divisional activities, policies and structure.
- Compile statistical reporting.
- Identify the need for follow-up training with staff.
- Complete special projects, as needed.
- Perform analysis and reconciliation on problem accounts.
- Set up meetings and support functions.
- Maintain files, equipment and inventory.
- Perform related work as required.
