We are looking for an experienced scientist with a strong commercial background in cell biology that is excited for the opportunity to directly interact with and support customers, while also contributing to the development of novel cell-based workflows. If you are interested in traveling and playing a critical role in the commercial advancement of our technology, this may be the role you have been looking for.
This is a remote/field-based position.
A day in the life:
Assist current and future customers in developing workflows using our technology.
Perform instrument demos at customer sites.
Conduct training at customer sites.
Proactively communicate with Product Applications, Sales, Service and Marketing to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
Provide feedback from customers to instrument design team.
Serve in a critical role responding to and facilitating the resolution of scientific challenges and customer concerns while developing and maintaining key customer relationships.
Travel throughout the U.S. to support customer base.
Educate customers and design/troubleshoot customer-specific applications.
Contribute to application notes and protocols for a variety of cell-based assay workflows.
Work independently and as part of a cross functional team in the field and in-house.
Support multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Must haves:
Ph.D. with 3+ years research experience (post-grad) in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related field
Experience in an industry lab or in customer facing roles
Bench experience with a variety of cell culture models (2D and 3D, stem cells etc.) and cell-based assay development
Confident scientific communicator with strong customer orientation
Must be able to travel as needed to customer sites (> 50% travel) for demonstrations, training, and customer support
Must be able to work in the US
Additional desirable areas of expertise:
Next generation sequencing
Fluorescence imaging and analysis
Flow cytometry
Single-cell based applications
Advanced cell biology models (primary, iPSCs, T-cells etc)
