Darkroom is looking to grow our content creator network. By applying to this role, you will be considered on a project-to project basis. You will collaborate with our creative production team to concept and produce content for world-class brands. The ideal candidate will be strategic-minded with a finger on the pulse of social media trends and have experience producing content for brands across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube, etc).

This is a part-time, contract position. Paid out on a project to project basis, expected commitment is 5-10 hours/week.

What you’ll do:

  • You will be filming (conceptualizing/creating/editing) vertical videos in a variety of content styles

  • Develop and produce thumb-stopping social media videos, images, and planned communication that improves brand awareness, perceptions, and social engagement

  • Brainstorm inventive content ideas and hooks that drive engagement, leverage new formats

  • Stay current on all social media platforms, ad offerings, content publishers, tools, trends, and best practices

  • Be a creative collaborator: Have the ability to be the voice of the brand and the influencer to create content that is authentic and powerful for all channels

  • Develop and produce attention-grabbing photo & video content that reaches consumer touch-points

  • Be comfortable being on camera, speaking to the camera, and taking face-front video, while highlighting key product features

  • Provide accessible content that includes closed captioning, voiceover, and overlay text in a variety of aspect ratios

  • Unabashed Tik Toker that knows how to stay ahead of trends and produce engaging content

  • Experience creating content (including video content and organic content), creating social media content, especially Reels and TikTok viral video campaigns

  • Experience shooting, editing, and publishing content for a brand and creating influencer marketing/UGC content

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills with the ability to manage deliverables across an array of brands

  • Highly organized, driven, and motivated with a great work ethic

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
