Outside Sales Representative

We are looking for a full time Outside Sales Representative!

The Outside Sales Representative’s goal is to maintain relationships with our existing customers and focus on building relationships with new potential customers.

This position will communicate frequently with our buyers and wholesale managers.

You will be expected to learn and understand how the company functions as a whole and learn our full product list as well as navigate our pricing system.

A majority of your day will be spent on the road meeting with chefs. There will also be times when customers meet with you inside of our facility.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Develop, maintain, and interact with existing, potential, and new customer base
• Introduce new products to existing and new customers
• Provide excellent customer service
• Provide insight on product availability
• Communicate with our purchasing team, wholesale managers and drivers
• Update client contact info
• Make edits in pricing system to satisfy customer needs
• Expand our current territory

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in outside sales
• Food service sales background is important
• Ability to communicate via email, text and phone calls
• Sales driven, detail-oriented, self-starter, who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with working from a day-to-day customer call list and having direct contact with the customer
• Strong prospecting, cold calling and closing skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer skills proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets and ability to understand QuickBooks
