Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?


  • Within the first 30 days of employment, you will embark on a learning spree to familiarize yourself with the product and the tools needed to succeed in this role.
  • You will work closely with your peers and mentors, and interact with engineering development teams, and product management to understand and develop test plans and automation.
  • Within 3 - 6 months you will be working on testing new features, developing Automation to test the same, and be responsible for delivering a quality product.
  • Within a year you will be a subject matter expert and a self-starter well on your way to handling more complex projects.


The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?


While your projects will be broadly tailored to your strengths, you can expect to work on the following activities :


  • Analyze requirements, develop tests and test strategies to cover the Functional aspects, and track defects for the product
  • Drive automation efforts; build/enhance automation platform that will enable team to write automation tests quickly and efficiently.
  • Work independently as well as in a team of engineers for designing and automating test cases.
  • Participate in review of new product features and design specifications.
  • Work with different teams (Development/Product Management/Operation/Support) to collect necessary information to improve and enhance test coverage.
  • Handle activities to meet the delivery dates and report accurate, complete status.
