Contract Manager (Remote Opportunity)
What we're looking for:
6+ years of contract management, paralegal or other equivalent experience, with responsibility for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts
Ability to identify and implement new and scalable processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Systems and Google Workspace
Previous in-house legal experience is a plus
Experience implementing a contract lifecycle management tool is a plus

What you'll do:
Lead contract negotiation and documentation of contractual relationships
Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters
Monitor contracts and move forward with close-out, extension or renewal according to what's best for the company
Solve any contract-related problems that may arise with other parties and internal stakeholders
Act as point of contact to cross-functional teams
Train and educate appropriate sales and store leadership to improve the process and reduce the timeline
Assist with managing legal workflows and project deadlines for the legal function, communicating with internal teams regarding the status of the same
Help select and implement a contract management system for the business

How you'll make a difference:
We seek a proactive, trustworthy, and resourceful team player to support Custom Ink's legal function. Our Contract Manager must be organized, accurate, and detail-oriented while communicating effectively with others in a friendly, collaborative environment. You will have a direct impact on our legal function's productivity and the company's bottom line, so you must be comfortable meeting tight deadlines, working with sensitive information, juggling multiple matters, and driving legal operational process improvements. You will work closely with Custom Ink's legal team, collaborate with all other teams within the business, and interact with external partners and governing bodies.
