The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

This position will have the opportunity to lead, direct, and guide the continued growth and evolution of a product currently aimed at helping hospitals and payers better manage their risk-based patient populations in value based contracts.

The impact will help assure patients receive enhanced continuity of care through accurate, complete, and compliant documentation.

As a Chief Product Owner you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by :

• Lead effort with product owner team and customers to define, prioritize, and lead execution of the product roadmap.


• Coordinate, create and maintain product documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including training materials, user guides, release notes and reporting


• Triage development and QA tickets based on business and customer priorities


• Provide subject matter expertise for product marketing, sales enablement, and customer project support


• Willingness to travel as required in support of customer and sales activity


• Actively participates in relevant corporate programs / initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must (at a minimum) have the following qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and eight (8) years of healthcare experience


• High School Diploma / GED (completed and verified prior to start) and fourteen (14) years of healthcare experience


• Five (5) years of experience in product management and / or product marketing


• Five (5) years of experience working in healthcare provider

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include :

• Master's degree in health information systems (HIS), health policy, or hospital administration (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution


• Eight (8) combined years of experience in product management and / or product marketing


• Excellent communication, oral presentation and writing skills


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills


• Understanding and familiarity with the US health care industry


• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies


• Ability to work well within a team


• Project management experience


• Individual initiative and responsibility for innovation


• Detail orientation and commitment to perfection
