Reinsurance Industry Professionals - Remote

As a Reinsurance Industry Accounting & Finance Consultant you will play an instrumental role in assisting clients in a variety of challenging project.
Expertise in at least one of the following areas:

• Reinsurance Accounting and Reporting for Ceded Reinsurance Activity including Reinsurance Payments, Client Reporting, review of new or amended agreements.
• Reinsurance Accounting Close Support: process review and improvements, automation of manual journal entries, close calendar maintenance.
• Strong Reinsurance Calculations and Analysis (Assumed / Ceded) based on Treaties including Analysis of Loss Reserves.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Key Responsibilities:  Reinsurance Accounting, Analysis, Client Reporting, Payments, Contract / Treaty Review, Analysis including of Loss Reserves, Month-End Close Process Management, Process Improvements, Manual Reporting and Journal Entry Automation

WHAT YOU WILL BRING 

• Strong knowledge and 5+ years of experience within the Reinsurance Industry
• Bachelor's Degree of Accounting, Finance or related field required. Masters Degree or CPA is a big plus.
• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting and financial analysis.
• Strong systems and Data skills utilizing Accounting and Finance systems and Excel
• Excellent communication, client service and facilitation skills to build relationships and foster trust at all organizational levels

• Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.
  • Pay Range: $50-$80/hr
