The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and thrive in a team environment, while still possessing initiative and drive. The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, activities, and tasks simultaneously is an essential skill in this role. Previous experience working in a legal setting is a plus. As part of our IT team, Support Specialists can expect ongoing development opportunities to stay current with technologies we use.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with technical support and network administration

  • Assists with the installation, set-up, and troubleshooting of hardware, including servers, desktop equipment, printers, and telecommunication equipment

  • Maintains an accurate inventory of network hardware, software, and Firm laptops

  • Develop and maintain concise process documentation related to responsibilities

  • Respond as a second-level escalation point for Help Desk personnel

  • Assists with the installation, set-up, and troubleshooting of hardware, including servers, desktop equipment, printers, and telecommunication equipment

  • Administers network accounts

  • Project work as assigned




Key Skills:

  • Experience with VPNs, Active Directory, Office 365, video conferencing equipment is preferred

  • Exposure to Prolaw and iManage ideal

  • Strong organizational skills including record keeping, data collection and system information

  • Position may require lifting and moving equipment in excess of 75 pounds

  • Ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously


Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in technical support; law firm experience preferred

  • Ability to work onsite as needed and occasional weekend hours to perform system maintenance
