What You Will Do:

  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain productive professional relationships with key customer personnel (government and prime contractor). Facilitate regular check-ins and provide attentive follow-up to address any questions, issues, concerns, or requests.

  • Communicate contract successes and issues through fulfillment of contractual reporting requirements and premier stakeholder management.

  • Work collaboratively with the customer to address challenges, mitigate risks, and remove obstacles to facilitate desired outcomes.

  • Staffing

  • Create and post job descriptions for open positions.

  • Work with internal recruiters, external staffing agencies, and/or subcontractors to review resumes, screen candidates, and submit qualified candidates to hiring managers.

  • Coordinate with customers, recruiters, and candidates to schedule interviews; gather feedback and communicate to relevant parties.

  • Communicate summary details on new and backfill recruiting efforts to corporate and client stakeholders including position requirements, urgency of need, number of openings /applicants /submissions, screening methods, and hiring status.

  • Facilitate employment offers and related paperwork.

  • Assist with onboarding of new hires, coordinating with Administration Officers and other government personnel to facilitate background checks and badging.

  • When required, work with employees and immigration attorneys to retain appropriate visas/credentials for work.

  • Team Management

  • Develop and maintain productive professional relationships with employees, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors. Address concerns and questions, engaging corporate / partner support as required.

  • Review and approve timesheets and monthly status reports.

  • Manage leave processes and approvals.

  • Coordinate performance reviews with supervisors and subcontract managers. Collect self -valuations and supervisor feedback. Negotiate and process salary increases. Work with Contracts to process subcontractor rate changes.

  • Manage performance improvement plans as required.

  • Assist with career development and training planning; manage class/conference registrations and travel requests.

  • Operations Management

  • Document operations processes and procedures as need to ensure consistent service levels.

  • Manage relationships, information exchange, and deliverables with subcontractors and prime contractors.

  • Document and implement continuous improvement ideas.

  • Financial Management

  • Review and approve all contract invoices for submission.

  • Coordinate ad hoc financial reporting to address corporate and customer requests.

  • Business Development:

  • Contribute to segment growth by participating in capture activities, solutioning, proposal development, proposal reviews, and program kickoff activities.

  • Respond to requests from business development for proposal information to include writing customer-specific past performance, project management approach descriptions, and other information as necessary.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited university OR equivalent related years of experience.

  • 3-5 years project management experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams

  • Excellent attention to detail, quality, and follow-through; commitment to continuous improvement and the elimination of performance variability

  • Self-starter and quick learner with positive attitude and lots of initiative, working independently without day-to-day supervision of tasks and proactively seeking creative solutions to problems

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills

  • Strong writer with the ability to document processes and procedures as well as contribute to proposals and data calls

  • Ability to manage complex tasks, adapt to rapidly changing requirements, and engage cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable working within a team, fulfilling lead and support responsibilities

  • Ability to effectively and confidently communicate in speaking and writing with team members and all levels of corporate and customer stakeholders

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Previous experience supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH) strongly preferred
