Responsibilities
The Senior Quality Engineer performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. May create test data for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers. Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements. Begins to influence department's strategy.
Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.Required Qualifications
- Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must have experience as a Testing Lead, leading multiple teams of Quality Test Engineers
- 5 or more years of technical experience
- Experience working with Cloud enabled applications: Azure, GCP, AWS
- Ability to perform and lead tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.
- Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Experience with Healthcare processing
Additional Information
Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters.
