Senior Web Application Developer

Miami Dade College, Wolfson Campus is now accepting applications for the Senior Web Application Developer  position. The Senior Web Application Developer analyzes, designs, and implements computations and processes necessary for computer solutions. The position develops and maintains assigned information systems to ensure efficient systems integration and operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, deploys, and supports new and enhance existing database-driven websites and internal business applications


• Designs database structures to support the web applications, create stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions


• Follows established coding and documentation standards


• Leads the design and implementation of certain projects as needed and serves as resource for other developers


• Develops and maintains website content management systems 


• Performs data analysis and generates reports


• Develops a variety of integration techniques


• Designs and suggests new coding standards and optimum methods of problem solving

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field and three (3) years of progressive experience in systems analysis and programming; or bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of relevant experience.
