WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Director Product Management and R&D Transformation will join RealPage's Transformation Office as a strategic operational leader, change agent, and strategic communicator. This individual will have a passion for product/customer success and business outcomes - turning strategy to life with scale. This is an exciting role in a fast-paced global company with the ability to impact cross-functional teams and deliver growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Management Practices: create/evolve and lead product management best practices throughout the lifecycle (eg, roadmap governance, new product launch, product mgmt. onboarding etc.) in partnership with GMs and the product organization. Establish rhythm of the business and key success metrics to continuously evolve
Transformational Communications & Execution: build and lead transformation communications plans supporting multiple and complex, cross-functional programs/projects. Align on goals and objectives with senior leadership and provide a short and long-term change roadmap to achieve end state. Partner with initiative owners and teams to implement communications plan, inspire change agents, and drive mindset and behavioral change across functional teams. Creativity is a plus.
Subject Matter Expert: be a thought leader in business process improvement and product management and engineering development practices
Evangelist: partner with Corporate Communications to share change stories and create opportunities for key leaders to showcase transformation results. Communicate often within and across project teams and with executive stakeholders
Global Focus: foster global collaboration and drive unity within and across functional teams
Change Agent: be a role model driving transformation with a sense of urgency, flexibility, and passion for customer success
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
8-10 years of advanced Project Management and communications experience and associated methodologies techniques, processes, and approaches
5+ years of successful PMO experience driving product and technology transformations a plus
Consulting background with strategy and communications focus
Critical thinker and ability to connect the dots across Operational, Product, Technology, Customer, and Finance issues
Demonstrated experience of solving complex problems using a methodological, data-driven approach
Proven ability to use creative communication techniques, channels, and tools aligned to business results
Experience in leading initiatives that have end-to-end ownership of technology roadmap, from conception to delivery
Ability to effectively communicate vision, impact, and trade-offs to executive leadership
Experience with automation and best practice tools for transformation and product/technology programs
Experience leading global program initiatives or process improvements
Ability to combine strategic thinking, with solid attention to detail
Strong consulting and change management skills
Excellent communication skills that can influence decisions and actions among stakeholders
Excellent analytical skills with an innovative approach to problem solving
Ability to travel, especially if not located in DFW area
