HEALTHCARE RECRUITER / SOURCING EXPERT
We are a small healthcare recruitment firm based out of Southwest Florida that focuses on the recruitment of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and allied health professionals. Our clients are located in small and large metropolitans throughout the country and range in size from small, independently owned practices, to large hospital systems.
Our firm is rapidly growing, and we are in search of an experienced RECRUITER / SOURCING SPECIALIST to help our clients accomplish their hiring objectives as quickly and efficiently as possible. Prior experience as a recruiter and/or sourcing expert is required. Prior healthcare recruiting and/or sourcing experience strongly preferred.
Currently, this is a remote work position. However, with continued growth, we expect to transition to an office-based setting in the Southern Fort Myers, Estero, or Bonita Springs, Florida area. As such, the ideal candidate will be based within the Southwest Florida metro area.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate a record of successful recruiting and sourcing. Experience seeking out/sourcing qualified candidates and contacting as many as needed on a daily basis is an absolute requirement. Several recruitment resources will be made available; however, success in this position will only come by aggressively sourcing passive candidates, rather than relying on incoming applications. Successful, highly motivated healthcare recruiters / sourcing experts should expect substantial annual earnings that can exceed 6-digits.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Use all available resources (including LinkedIn, social media, and niche resume databases) to identify potential candidates
- Review online portfolios and resumes to pre-screen candidates
- Compose and send emails and messages, and conduct phone calls to potential candidates
- Create and update candidate records in our custom-built Salesforce Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Develop a network of potential candidates and industry professionals
- Seek out candidate referrals and client business development opportunities in every candidate and client interaction
- Other responsibilities beyond those listed above
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Must have the desire to join a small company with big plans for growth!
- A minimum of two years of recruiting and/or sourcing experience is required
- Prior healthcare recruiting / sourcing experience is strongly preferred
- Candidates must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills as it relates to grammar and spelling (skills testing may be conducted prior to making an offer of employment)
- Comfort utilizing social media networks and resume databases to source candidates
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and operations as it relates to medical disciplines, specialties, and procedures
- Comfort talking extensively on the phone daily
- Organized and able to successfully balance dozens of active candidates and job requisitions concurrently
- Highly proficient with MS Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote, and Teams
- Experience using advanced search functions including Boolean search/logic is strongly preferred
- Work independently while meeting sourcing, recruiting, and candidate send-out and placement benchmarks
- Bachelor's Degree in business, communications, or healthcare-related field is strongly preferred
The Healthcare Recruiter / Sourcing Expert position is an exempt, fulltime position. Scheduled work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. However, due to the nature and unpredictability of the recruitment industry, and because candidates and clients are located across all time zones, some night and weekend work is required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The Healthcare Recruiter / Sourcing Expert position compensation includes a base salary plus the potential for monthly commissions. An annual bonus may also be earned if preestablished benchmarks are met.
- Health insurance: Half the employee's monthly insurance premium is covered by the Company. Insurance is available the beginning of the first full month following a 30-day probationary period
- Paid time off (includes sick time, personal time, and vacation time): 80 hours per year, plus six paid holidays
- Paid holidays: New Year's, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
- Retirement plan with up-to 3% company match: Available beginning the first full month following a 30-day probationary period
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
A computer with necessary software and hardware will be provided, as well as a VoIP landline and wireless headset. The Healthcare Recruiter / Sourcing Expert must have a dedicated office, room, or space that is completely free from distractions, noise, and interruptions, as this position necessitates substantial time on the phone and in virtual meetings.
Access to high-speed internet with a minimum connection speed of 50 Mbps download/upload is required (100 Mbps recommended). A hardwired Ethernet/network connection is highly recommended for reliable performance of bandwidth-intensive devices including VoIP device and computer.
