Job Description Summary:
The Senior Customer Solutions Engineer (Senior CSE) provides critical difference-making skills to support Rockets customers in their implementation of Rocket Content Services technologies. These technologies help organizations automate, secure, deliver, and derive new value from organizational information in data, application, process, infrastructure, and user contexts. You will be at the center of key industry trends and technical change at some of the largest organizations in the world.
Candidates for this position are technically versatile and have a unique blend of skills that permit you to participate in a highly collaborative team approach while being an independent self-starting change agent for customers, Rocket software, and the industry. In this position, you will:
Deliver services that enable successful post-sales deployment of Rocket solutions
Solve real problems for, and deliver real value to, Rockets customers and partners on a daily basis

The base salary range for this role is $85,820.00 - $107,275.00 /year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provide exceptional value-driven services to customers:
- Build upon established solution delivery techniques to help drive continual improvement
- Establish credibility as a Rocket product expert with all audience levels
- Mentor and teach junior consultants on product implementation strategies
- Leverage Rocket subject matter experts to provide effective and creative solutions to Rocket customers
- Handle objections professionally; answers questions quickly and concisely; addresses challenges assertively and persuasively
- Partner with Project Management to communicate progress, risks and roadblocks considering customer objectives, timeframe and budget
- Gain an understanding of the customer business and seeks to identify opportunities where Rocket can bring added value to the customer
- Guide client best practices configuration and use of Rocket products and trains customers in administration and use of the products
- Demonstrate consulting and technical leadership skills and is able to lead teams on engagements with mid-level complexity
- Contribute as a subject matter expert in services pre-sales activities including discovery, scoping, and solution proposals
- 5+ years consulting/implementation experience, with a demonstrated ability of enhancing customer relationships
- Experience with distributed operating systems (Linux, Windows), with experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) a bonus
- Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving, problem determination, diagnosis, identification, testing, and resolution
- Knowledge of Content Management technology (e.g., Mobius, FileNet, OpenText, Documentum, etc.) strongly preferred
- Language skills: fluent spoken/written English
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, regardless of timeline or time zone variations
- Experience with distributed operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Knowledge of databases and database concepts (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Knowledge of Web Application Servers (WebSphere, Tomcat)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience with REST API (or Java APIs)
