As an Analyst, Enterprise Operational Risk, you will support the mission through two primary areas of responsibility:




  1. Analytical: this role will also support the design, development, and maintenance of the reporting environment for the EORM (Enterprise Operational Risk Management) team. Primarily using Excel, Tableau, and source systems you will develop the environment that enables analysis to drive actionable insights and key business decisions.



  2. Strategic: working directly with EORM, leadership you are responsible for the production of executive-level messaging and presentations. The messaging and supporting materials are to facilitate the communication of the EORM strategies, operational risk assessments, recommendations, outlook, planning, and other matters. These presentations are largely for internal audiences, including senior executives, and board-level committees.





The ideal candidate is results and customer focused, inquisitive, creative, comfortable with ambiguity, collaborative, well organized, an effective communicator, has a continuous improvement mindset and has an affinity for leveraging tools in their work to drive efficiency.



What you'll be doing:



As part of a high performing and growing team focused on Enterprise Operational Risk, you will help to advance the organizational strategy.



Responsibilities:




  • Develops, identifies, writes, and edits a broad range of executive-level communications and presentations for internal audiences (e.g., senior executives and board-level committees).



  • Engages and consults with senior management and internal stakeholders to develop key content messaging, themes, style/tone, and graphic solutions for strategic communications.



  • Executes the full production cycle of developing EORM presentations including storyboarding the message, drafting and designing the presentation, creating slides, reviewing with presenters, and publishing the final product.



  • Supports a portfolio of reports and the overall reporting process with a focus on continuous improvement including Tableau site and permissions management, scheduled runs, troubleshooting, report design & functionality, etc.



  • Generates reports and visual aids in transforming transactional data into information to drive informed dialogue and strategy development.



  • Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by influencing and supporting initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.



  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.



  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.



  • Supports team operations with project and task management.





What we re looking for:




  • 4 year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)



  • Demonstrates strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills



  • 3-5 years of data analytics, data mining, and/or reporting experience directly aligning to the responsibilities of this role



  • Demonstrates the ability to identify and recommend process improvements



  • Ability to coordinate, facilitate and balance multiple projects



  • 2+ years of experience working with Tableau including building reports, designing permission structures, and creating automated routines a must



  • A demonstrated affinity for leveraging automation to enable process efficiencies



  • Proficiency and demonstrated experience in Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint



  • Experience creating/editing macros in Excel with Visual Basic
