The Technology HR support team works with many systems and applications. The primary functions of the team are supporting and improving HR based applications and applicant tracking. This team provides technology leadership, development, support, enhancements, and projects for the HR systems and vendor applications area. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills. What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality solutions by testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining programs and enhancements. Developing and modifying moderately complex information systems involving most phases of systems analysis and programming
- Analyze, code, test and document programs and enhancements
- Provide program and system level estimates
- Conduct code walkthroughs to assure quality of programs developed by other associates.
- Provide system support participate in the team's on-call support rotation
- Modernization of existing applications to be rewritten in modern technology languages
- Systems and applications utilizing the following technology: Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Rest Services, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, Junit, Thymeleaf, Javascript, HTML, and XML.
- Ongoing mitigation of Twistlock Vulnerability errors
What you'll need .
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of Web/Java development experience
- Open System development skills such as Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, Junit, Thymeleaf, Javascript, HTML, and XML are required
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies, microservice design and architectural patterns, and Linux
- Dev-ops tooling (Jenkins, GitHub, Twistlock, BlackDuck, Coverity, Kubernetes)
- Ability to design, develop, test, document and implement quality software within targeted time frames
- Knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies a plus: React
- React
- MuleSoft
- Mongo
- COBOL
- JCL
- Scrum
- Jira
- Understanding of PeopleSoft
- Experience or training with the AGILE project management methodology
- Ability to work with vendors and other integrations
