What You Will Do:
  • Research, design and develop all electrical aspects of new products, processes and systems.
  • Work closely with software and mechanical disciplines to create final products.
  • Work with Product Line and Sales groups to create product roadmaps and support product release.
  • Derive customer requirements into functional requirements for subsystems and components.
  • May travel up to 2 weeks per year to interact with customers, vendors, and support tradeshows.
  • Support and engage in our vision of improving lives.
  • Be a disciple and leader of continuous improvement.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Degree and 2 to 4 years or advanced degree and 1 to 3 years related experience.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-4 products developed and commercialized.
  • Experience in automation and control systems.
  • Experience with multiple PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Red Lion).
  • Proven experience with electrical hardware, software design and testing.
  • Ability to negotiate competing requirements to give the best system-level outcome.
  • Ability to discover, understand and articulate constraints, options, paths-forward.
  • Knowledgeable on C/C++, C#, MATLAB, Python.
  • Strong knowledge of PCB design.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD tools.
  • Ability to test electronic products using high-speed oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, waveform generators, and debugging tools.
  • Prior experience using systems and databases including MS SQL and MySQL.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, coding, testing, and debugging complex algorithms.
  • Prior work experience with embedded Systems, GUI Development using .NET Framework, .NET 5, and LabView.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.
  • Accepts critical feedback related to both design work and from a personal development point of view.
  • Works well on cross-functional teams.
