The Patient Care Technician is competent to perform both as a Unit Secretary or Certified Nursing Assistant. The Patient Care Technician is flexible and may be assigned as a unit secretary, certified nursing assistant, or in a dual position where both skills are utilized simultaneously. The Patient Care Technician performs these duties under the direction of the Charge Nurse/Clinical Manager. This is a Night Shift position.
- Emergency Medical Technician, State of California CNA License, Medical Assistant or Paramedic; and
- Basic Life Support (CPR); and
- Medical Terminology class or one (1) year experience in medical related field.
