  • Long term growth and advancement opportunities Job Summary Under the supervision and direction of the VP Clinical Operations, the Regional Clinical Educator designs, implements and assesses the educational requirements to maintain current nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements and advance the practice of new skills within the department.
Essential Functions / Primary Duties
  • Develops and Implements Clinical Educational Plan for assigned centers/region.
  • Conducts annual clinical competencies with clinical personnel and evaluates performance of skills.
  • Monitors clinical personnel s compliance with required e-learning courses and facilitates opportunities for completion.
  • Conducts Annual Survey Education with center staff.
  • Assists Regional Nurse Managers with survey preparation visits.
  • Completes annual FIT testing with center employees.
  • Validate Employee Health Records are maintained, and Employee Immunizations are offered/administered at assigned centers.
  • Participates in SLP s Emergency / Disaster Response Team
  • Educates clinical personnel on the use of the electronic health record to maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Other duties as assigned.
