UI/UX Developer
- Gathers and refines requirements by collaborating closely with users, product owners, developers, and business stakeholders
- Participates in design meetings to create logical, innovative mockups for new and evolving designs
- Develops user flow, wireframes, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Champions the needs of the user while maintaining a balance between business requirements and user needs
- Works in all phases of the software development life cycle including functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support
- Participates in daily scrums, work with Scrum Master and QA Team on projects and supports delivery timelines and priorities
- Designs, documents and presents solutions to senior leaders in IT
- Solves problems independently with limited supervision
- Works effectively in a matrix environment where 1) day-to-day tasks are determined and executed on agile/scrum team under the leadership of a scrum master and 2) career development and coaching, goal setting, performance evaluations and issue escalation are coordinated through a separate manager
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science, software engineering, UX design or information systems
- 2+ years professional experience in front-end development and user design
- Expert fluency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch
- Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React
- Experience as a full stack developer preferred
- Experience with object-oriented programming using languages like Java or C# preferred
- Exposure to Salesforce preferred
- Experience working with SQL and/or large data volumes is preferred
- Creativity for design solutions
- Solid analytical skills
- Knowledge of Typescript
- Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a variety of internal and external parties
- Ability to identify opportunities for technical improvements in specific processes and recommend solutions
- Open-office environment
