The ‘’Collaborate’’ Capability Product Manager is responsible for Meetings, Multi-Media, and Digital Signage capabilities within the Collaborate portfolio. The Meetings category contains standard meetings, webinars, and enterprise webcasts for large audiences.

The Multi-Media portfolio contains Video-On-Demand for streaming content and Digital Signage is a service to stream unique content targeted to the audience at a facility.

The incumbent will be accountable for managing these capabilities across their lifecycles.


In this role you will identify, define, analyze, prioritize, and refine requirements across multiple teams, and will communicate those requirements to the Technology Delivery Teams. (similar to a business analyst)


You will need to prioritize trade-offs, clarify requirements, and accept user stories throughout the Agile software development lifecycle.

The person selected will work directly with various internal and external stakeholders, including senior staff and department managers, as well as with the development teams to ensure successful translation of those requirements into high-quality service to be deployed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drives their capability vision, strategy, priority, and partners with the Capability Director to refine the roadmap; engages appropriate enterprise-wide stakeholders to enable awareness and alignment
  • Develops and leads End User engagement activities: surveys, focus groups, advisory councils, all aimed to understand voice-of-the-customer, insights into Personas and return on value
  • Understand and leverage Persona framework to identify needs, characteristics, patterns, behaviors, and tools end user need
  • Internal capabilities to serve large scale corporate culture with high demand
  • Work with configured products related to collaboration tools and technology
  • Build, groom and prioritize capability backlog(s). Create and groom short, medium, and long-term capability roadmaps and get internal agreement with key stakeholders
  • Collaborates with the Technology Delivery Teams to run successful Release Planning and Sprint Planning sessions, as well as Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives
  • Produce Features that provide business value, and are sized and defined for Sprint planning, and collaborate with engineers to ensure accuracy and feasibility
  • Maintain the functional quality of the work being delivered by setting and evaluating expectations and acceptance criteria
  • Establishes business value/outcome measures and metrics to measure effectiveness after release; monitor & report on progress
  • Work with engineering teams to continuously improve capability ownership and other Agile processes
  • Understand and communicate the requirements of our systems as we scale and continue to develop
  • Market, document and demonstrate capability feature and functionality to End Users
  • Advocate and drive organizational change management activities to promote adoption of capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years or more technical background as a Business Analyst or Project Manager
  • 3+ years or more experienced technical Product Owner or a Capability Manager
  • 2+ years or more direct hands-on experience with writing features, grooming capability backlogs and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to work within Agile development practices (especially Scrum or Kanban) methodologies and tools
  • Ability to work Central time zone core business hours Monday through Friday in the continental US. This role is open to telecommuters or those who wish to work a hybrid remote model
  • Operational budget compliance, change management, adoption etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid high-level knowledge of Meeting or Webcasting technologies
  • 3+ years of capability management experience with Kaltura Webcasting or Kaltura Video On Demand
  • 1+ year or more experience with other meeting technologies: Cisco Webex or Zoom Capabilities
  • 1+ year experience with MS Teams/365 capabilities
  • 1+ year experience with transformation and organizational change management in moving to MS 365/MS Teams
  • Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority
  • Executive presence and adaptive formal and informal communication
  • Outstanding technical and non-technical communication skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900.
