Mattson Resources is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer . Open to remote but must be based in one of the following locations: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, MO, NH, NJ, NY, OK, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI, PA.

Position Summary:
As a DevOps engineer, work closely with software engineers to help them deploy and operate different systems. In addition, help to automate and streamline the company’s operations and processes. A Combination of a DevOps Engineer and a DevOps solutions architect.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to automate build and deploy the code.
- Research and utilize a wide variety of open-source technologies.
- Use various tools to orchestrate solutions. Fluent with DevOps and Automation tools and practices.
- Automate builds and deployments of components for legacy and new microservices.
- Test, build, design, deploy, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using various DevOps tools.
- Must know how to choose the best tools and technologies which fit the business needs.
- Manage source control, build engines and repositories including Gitlab, Gitlab-runners, antifactory, WhiteSource, Jenkins, etc.
- Work close with development and IT teams such that the application is in line with business needs.
- Architect deployment strategies of the application on different platforms like on-premise and the cloud using automated tools like but not limited to Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS services, GitLab-ci, etc.
- Work towards Cloud and SaaS enablement.
- Support other departments and customers for DevOps needs.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of best practices related to DevOps and Cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure
- Proficient in Linux ecosystem
- Proficient in IaaC languages/scripting
- Team player.
- Ability to keep up with software development and operations trends and innovations.
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Education/Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
