Job Description
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Development Manager to join our Senior Living team! This individual will play a key role in the design and construction process from conception through completion acting as a Development Representative and strengthening day-to-day interactions between stakeholders.
Some things you can expect to do:
- Implement corporate goals and initiatives
- Participate in the design process with the regional development, construction, and design teams
- Maintain historical project FF&E costs for the creation of accurate FF&E budgets per Operator, Portfolio, Brand, and Market
- Provide operational feedback and updates for inclusion and use in updating the Operator Brand Standards
- Possess a general understanding of the development and construction process to support regional Development Teams
- Review progress plans with Operator during each design phase for final approvals
- Participate in all presentations for final selections of interior finishes with Operator's Representative, including all amenity and residential units
- Work with Development Director to quickly identify and report execution risk to Development
- Executive for prompt and appropriate action
- Conduct regular site visits to address issues and ensure conformance with design standards
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of successful project management experience. Ability to travel to project properties is required. A bachelor’s degree in construction management or applicable architecture or interior design degree is preferred.
