Software Development Engineer
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a full-time Software Development Engineer to join their rapidly growing engineering team for an innovative wholesale company who is a rising leader within the industry.
The Software Development Engineer creates and maintains software across various platforms for our company. You will identify, plan, and execute integration strategies, create tools for other developers, ensure ongoing monitoring, and optimize.
Compensation is in line with market value, benefits are provided: Medical, Dental, Vision; 401k 4% match, fully vested after one year and PTO.
Hybrid position, mostly work from home and will be asked to come on site at least once a month to the office in Tacoma, WA.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement micro-services and/or SOA applications.
- Formulate strategies and designing architectures for systems integrations and application data persistence.
- Configure, develop and implement enterprise integration solutions.
- Coordinating activities with other developers to ensure that integration projects are completed on time.
- Checks and corrects conflicts in data configurations and overlaps.
- Identifies and debugs system errors or architecture issues, as well as advices on them.
- Works closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Assists with the management of the databases and retrieval systems.
- Provide 3rd Tier Operational Support, working closely with IT Helpdesk personnel.
- Work within a team environment!

Knowledge:
- Experience with implementing cross-application business processes.
- Strong programming skills that relate to code development, maintenance, and implementation
- Strong knowledge of integrations, development processes, and integration architectures
Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience as a developer, programmer or computer scientist.
- Excellent knowledge of two or more programming languages: specifically C#, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong experience with custom software development.
- A Bachelor s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related qualification
- Experience with message-queue Integration Systems (Rabbit In Queue, AMQP, top and header exchange)
- Experience working with Jira
- EDI Experience a plus!
