Description

Innovative Dehumidifier Systems (IDS) is looking for Sales Representatives to help grow our business! Applicants outside of North Carolina are encouraged to apply for a fully remote position (some travel may be required for training purposes - travel reimbursement available). North Carolina/South Carolina residents may be considered for remote, hybrid, or onsite (depending on location). 


IDS Sales Representatives serve as a vital component of our mission to be experts in multi-family dehumidification solutions, going above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service. We are seeking ambitious, experienced, outgoing and tenacious sales representatives who are willing to work hard, and in turn, receive unlimited earning potential for their efforts.

SUMMARY:

  

This position is responsible for seeking new customers and cultivating favorable relationships with existing ones through outbound efforts using provided contact lists and inbound inquiries. Duties include preparing quotes and managing customer inquiries. This position works collaboratively with various team members including other sales reps, engineering, marketing, operations and finance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Quotes and provides related information about our      products to current and potential customers.
  • Processes orders and closes transactions ensuring orders      accuracy 
  • Builds and maintains relationships with customer. 
  • Aggregates routine sales reports or creates new as      requested.
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks during the day, projects,      and deadlines.
  •  Interacts with other groups (other sales reps, engineering, operations, marketing, finance) as needed ensuring order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
  • Maintains working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service.
  • Identifies  and pursues potential new sales opportunities.
  • Possesses  and demonstrates in-depth product knowledge.
  • Demonstrates  excellent written and verbal communication.

Requirements

  

GENERAL SKILLS

  • Capable of managing multiple      projects and prioritize work.
  • Strong attention to detail and      follow-up. 
  • Confident, competitive and      assertive.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing, Sales, Business or Engineering preferred
  • General sales experience or technical sales required.  
  • HVAC and/or construction knowledge is a plus.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to work independently, be      self-motivated, prioritize and execute work activities successfully.
  • Must be effective at resolving      problems and handling stressful situations in a professional manner.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills (by phone and computer).
  • Experience working in industrial product manufacturing environment is preferred.
