Biology Sales Rep-Remote Within 1 Hour Of Chicago - Now Hiring

We are hiring experience Sales Representative whom have a degree Biology, Life Sciences or Chemistry AND 3+ years of sales experience. This role is open to candidates within a one hour radius of Chicago. Description: Conduct on-site customer visits to provide sales information : Cell Culture, Sample Preparation, BioProcessing, Fermentation, Consumables, Protein Expression and related products Ensure that assigned territory meets sales goals Develop relationships with new and existing customers Sell products in various market segments via direct sales and through distributors Actively sell: Local vendor shows and company sponsored trade shows Identify and follow-up with potential new sales leads through social media, the company CRM, customer referrals and email campaigns. Develop sales strategies for assigned territory including business plans and market analysis Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and strive to learn and contribute to company culture Manage and maintain information in company CRM Perform other job-related duties as requested by customers and/or management Overnight travel 50% Additional Skills & Qualifications: Self-starter with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are critical Knowledge of the account base in the geography preferred Laboratory hands-on experience preferred Basic Knowledge of Cell Culture and/or High Pressure Liquid Chromatography Requires analytical thinking and presenting ideas Experience in Microsoft office and a CRM program Skilled in the art of negotiation Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Life Sciences or Chemistry required About Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
