We re looking for a dynamic individual to join our People Operations Department and build out a new role devoted to onboarding and supporting all MasteryPrep employees. This role will be at the forefront of building our rapidly growing workforce. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, passionate about improving the lives of others and knowledgeable in several areas of human resources. You will create new processes, help us adopt new systems, and be valued as an individual and for the experience you bring. Organization, communication, critical thinking, attention to detail and a drive to learn will be key in addition to fully embodying our mission. Examples of work: Act as first point of contact for all employee relations questions and concerns Provide regular communication to employees regarding upcoming milestones, deadlines, holidays, anniversaries and birthdays Conduct employee surveys and summarize/analyze insights Manage enrollment/adjustment processes for employee benefits Create and maintain accurate personnel files, distribution lists and resource documents Manage company-wide travel policies and procedures and support travel booking Oversee employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes from start to finish Conduct new hire onboarding trainings and support new employee setup Support additional training and development efforts as needed Provide general employee support and exemplify our company values About Us Nearly 90% of low-income students graduate high school without a college-ready ACT or SAT score. Bring your experience, skills and creativity here and you ll find MasteryPrep is a place to contribute and feel valued Requirements Bachelor s Degree in human resources or related field 2+ years of Human Resource experience Currently residing in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area (Role is remote, with occasional in-person meetings) Experience working with large data sets; HRIS experience preferred Excellent organizational and work management skills High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook suite, including Excel, and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities (i.e. self-starter, self-motivated) Basic knowledge of labor legislation Positive attitude and desire to connect with others Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information Willingness to travel on occasion for meetings and events Deep belief in the potential of all students and a passion for MasteryPrep s mission Respect for individuals' diverse experiences and the ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds Benefits $50,000 starting salary with room to grow Employee benefits eligibility (health, disability, AD&D, life insurance) Optional dental and vision coverage Matching 401k Paid time off Generous paid holidays Ability to work fully remote Company supplied laptop
