We are working with a growing company in the Greater Atlanta Area! Seeking a Billing Coordinator . This is a temporary to possible hire opportunity. This role will work on site during training and then eventually there is possibility of a hybrid schedule after the probationary period. Construction or medical billing experience is a plus, billing experience of some kind is required..


Responsible for processing all new construction contracts for assigned locations and construction billing for existing contracts.


Essential Functions


  • Review new construction contracts ensuring billing information from branch corresponds with customer contract and proper signatures
  • Setup of new construction contracts, ensuring timely processing, assignment of customer numbers and appropriate tax codes
  • Generate manual customer construction invoices for assigned locations, including calculations for work completed to date and print/separate/mail invoices
  • Balance billing monthly, ensuring all information is entered in the system and that credits/debits are posted to customer account accurately
  • Generate monthly report detailing all contract activity for each assigned location
  • Coordinate with Accounts Receivable all money applied to invoice
  • Investigate and revise, when necessary, any incorrect bills, reviewing accounts to determine if credit is needed including customer or sales rep correspondence for credit requests
  • Process price increases each month or coordination with branches on customers excluded from price increase
  • Handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize and execute
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Education And Experience


  • High school diploma or GED (general education degree); one year certificate from college or technical school
  • MS Excel skills are a must
  • Oracle database knowledge is a plus
  • Billing experience is required; construction and/or medical billing experience is preferred
