WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a senior software engineer, you will be working within a scrum team consisting of a product owner, QA and engineers. You will be working with the latest technologies and helping to drive the direction for new features and products. You will work with stakeholders to help define the user workflows and work with the technology team to develop.best practices.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in two-week sprints building new features and enhancing existing features using technologies like C#, .NET Core API, Angular, and MySQL.
Full stack design and development with a focus on maintainability, usability, scalability and performance.
Be a positive influence on the team through code reviews, collaborating with other developers on the team, and ensuring adherence to coding and testing standards.
Work closely with product managers to understand the future business direction with the goal of architecting the platform optimally.
Work closely with technical leads and other stakeholders to develop project plans and participate in resource planning.
Participate in our engineering guilds, focus groups, and dev talks to contribute to the research and implementation of new technologies, tools, and architectural patterns.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
5+ years of experience in developing customer-facing software.
Hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, Web API and Angular.
Hands-on experience working with creating and consuming REST web services and APIs.
Experience writing SQL queries and designing databases.
Experience with source control tools such as Git and common branch/merging workflows.
Experience with cloud computing platforms and continuous integration.
Experience creating unit and integration tests.
Excellent debugging, presentation and facilitation skills.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
