Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Product Marketing, the Pursuit Marketing Specialist will be a key member of the product marketing team, driving the messaging and positioning of our product portfolio, identifying differentiators, formulating value propositions, developing useful sales collateral, campaign messaging, and collaborating to support our go-to-market efforts for our healthcare IT solutions.

The successful candidate will partner with sales and solutions experts to develop unique messaging to support sales pursuits. The Pursuit Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing value-driven product messaging to support active sales opportunities, requests for proposal responses, and account-based and new logo-generating outbound campaigns to support the net new pipeline. This person serves as a subject matter expert relative to the positioning of Greenway solutions, working closely with various teams, including sales, product management, and client success. The Pursuit Marketing Specialist will also create messaging strategy, campaign, and pursuit campaign materials and assets to speed pipeline conversions and increase win rates.

Essential Duties & responsibilities
  • Supports message and content development for use in outbound campaigns and pursuit materials
  • Collaborates with sales to ensure effective sales representative use of messaging and materials
  • Identifies the relevant market-facing positioning of key benefits for our products with the purpose of providing demand generation and nurturing messaging to support the sales pipeline
  • Serves as lead and project manager for the tactical execution of pursuit marketing programs and outbound account-based marketing and re-nurture campaigns
  • Leads the development of custom collateral and sales tools to promote the value of product features within a specific sales opportunity
  • Provides subject matter expertise relative to our products to design messaging and support RFP responses
  • Partners cross-functionally to provide guidance relative to the competitive aspects of our software solutions; helps to develop competitive positioning within active sales opportunities as needed
  • An active member of the product marketing team, collaborating to gather insights and solicit feedback on messaging and tactics, and ensure alignment to broader integrated campaign efforts
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, compliance, customer success, medical, sales, operations, and learning and development) to ensure alignment on brand strategy


Skills & Requirements
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing; or equivalent experience
  • Three (3)+ years of marketing experience in a corporate environment
  • Three (3)+ years of Healthcare IT experience preferred
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
  • Experience managing product marketing messaging & strategy, including, value propositions, key messaging, product positioning, and client-centric story development
  • Ability to translate product and feature capabilities into easily understood value-driven messages
  • Ability to communicate product information in a concise and understandable manner that can be used by sales personnel to enhance their ability to sell
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and website content management systems
  • Must enjoy working with information that is technical in nature and tailoring that information for both lay and specialized audiences
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Proven ability to collaborate with and support multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Confidence and poise when presenting to and interacting with executive leadership

Work environment & physical demands
  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for most of the workday
  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others' work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices
  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to internal and external customers
  • Travel is required (less than 25%)
